Our mini-vacation to North Conway

The big finale! Heading down the PANDA CHUTES OF DEATH! or the Bamboo Chutes... whatever.

We took a last-minute trip to North Conway last weekend after Jackson's graduation! We stayed in a hotel that had waterslides.

Daddy and Cooper going down the blue slide.

Cooper getting ready to slide down this frog's tongue. He always needed a little nudge to get going, but smiled the whole way down!

Jackson having a blast sliding down the frog-tongue.

The next day, we headed to StoryLand. We woke up to rain, so we were a little worried how the day would go. After our breakfast at the hotel, we headed to Wal-Mart and picked up 2 umbrellas, snacks and batteries. At this point, the rain was coming down pretty hard. By the time we arrived at StoryLand, it had let up considerably, but it was pretty chilly. Fortunately, we had packed sweatshirts. All the boys were sporting their Kansas and Kansas State garb.

The boys on the "Choo Choo" which took us on a tour around the park.

"Cooper in Wonderland"

This is pretty much what Cooper looked like on every ride we went on.

Jackson and Mommy on the floating swans. Of course, Jackson was hung up on the fact that Mommy was NOT wearing a life-jacket.

Those teacups are crazy!! But Jackson's favorite ride was the "Polar Coaster." He rode it 7 times. 4 times with Daddy, 3 with Mommy. By then he was an expert.....Our least favorite ride was the "Turtle Twister" similar to a tilt-a-whirl. We thought it would be a little toned-down. Come on now, this park is for young children. But we were wrong. Jason was green after the ride was over. Cooper's eyes were moving so fast from side to side, I thought he was going to vomit.

Here is Coop, most likely pointing at the Choo-Choo.

Cooper taking us on a drive around the countryside. Jackson is not feeling well...can you tell? He insisted that Cooper drive this time around.

This lady sat in this shoe. Just sat there. The whole day.
