Keeping Entertained inside....

The snow is fun....but it is just too cold out to enjoy any fun outdoor activities! So we are finding ways to keep entertained inside.

Jackson has been learning yoga poses at school in gym class. His favorite is the "warrior" pose. Here he is showing the Wii fit trainer how it is really done!

Little Engineer Cooper playing with the GeoTrax trains he got from Santa. I spent a good hour trying to make it so the train wouldn't get stuck going in a circle on one end. Now the train can move wherever Cooper's heart desires.

Fun with our new stuff!

When we returned home, there was a pile of toys waiting to be played with! Here are the boys playing with the HotWheels "MEGA CITY PACK"

Jason and Jackson put together the much anticipated marble contraption that day as well. This is one of those things that must be put together, played with, and then put away!! If one piece gets lost...its over. It was so cute to watch the teamwork. Jackson just gets so excited!!

Here is a video of the finished product in action. It is mesmerizing to watch.....

After all the toys are played with, there is nothing like good old roughhousing to keep the boys entertained! "Get him, Coop!"

Here is what happened later that evening at 4pm on our way to visit friends in Peterborough. Out like lights! How is this comfortable??

Christmas and its aftermath....

This is the after.......

.....Now here is how we got there!

Doing stockings (very stuffed)

Cooper and his "wire twuck." He laid here just looking at it for quite awhile.
Jackson opening his Wii Fit (or is this really for mommy?)

I just really like this picture of the boys.
Jackson after opening his "marble contraption" that he asked for from Santa!
Cooper opening his longed-for dinosaurs

The pile of loot...

Shortly after the mayhem, we ate breakfast and I went to bed (I worked the night before). We headed for Boston that afternoon in preparation to fly out to Kansas City the next morning. We stayed in a hotel~which is one of Jackson's favorite things to do~and ate at a Japanese Hibachi for dinner Christmas Story-Style! We are still waiting for the haul of gifts we received to travel halfway across the country via UPS. Oh joy! It will be like Christmas all over again!
